Having more time on my hands since retiring, I joined a watercolour class in 2016 and have been painting and drawing avidly ever since. The following year I embarked on a watercolour Diploma course with the London Art College, gaining a distinction and also gaining confidence. The topics were mainly landscapes but in the latter part of the course I rediscovered my love of wildlife, which is not surprising as animals have been a passion all my life. I like to capture a story, a movement and/or an emotion in my art work. Conservation is at the forefront of my interests and the ability to donate to certain charities is energising my art. Update since Covid. I spent the 2 years working on different media as can be seen from the web-site. I am now immersed in oil painting and loving it. Follow my journey through the pages and diferent media.
